Depuis plus de 25 ans, les municipalit\u00e9s membres de Climat Alliance\/Alliance pour le climat \u0153uvrent, en partenariat avec les peuples indig\u00e8nes des for\u00eats tropicales, en faveur du climat.\u00a0 Avec quelque 1.700 membres \u00e0 travers 26 pays europ\u00e9ens, Climate Alliance est le r\u00e9seau mondial le plus important de communes agissant en faveur du climat et le seul \u00e0 avoir d\u00e9fini des objectifs chiffr\u00e9s: Chaque commune ou ville membre s\u2019est engag\u00e9e \u00e0 r\u00e9duire ses \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre de 10 pourcent tous les 5 ans.<\/p>\n

\u00c9tant conscient de l\u2019impact que notre mode de vie peut avoir sur les peuples et les endroits les plus vuln\u00e9rables \u00e0 travers le monde, Climate Alliance combine actions locales et responsabilit\u00e9 globale. Le r\u00e9seau initie des coop\u00e9rations avec les peuples indig\u00e8nes, m\u00e8ne des campagnes de sensibilisation et propose des instruments pour l\u2019action en faveur du climat. Il poursuit une d\u00e9marche participative bas\u00e9e sur l\u2019\u00e9change et repr\u00e9sente ses membres aux niveaux national, europ\u00e9en et international.<\/p>\n

Au Luxembourg, c\u2019est en 1995 que quelques communes se joignent aux ONG \u00ab ASTM \u2013 Action Solidarit\u00e9 Tiers Monde\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Mouvement Ecologique\u00a0\u00bb dans le but de fonder ensemble le \u00ab\u00a0Klima-B\u00fcndnis L\u00ebtzebuerg\/Alliance pour le climat Luxembourg\u00a0<\/strong>\u00bb.<\/p>\n

A l\u2019heure actuelle, \u00a0l\u2019Alliance pour le climat Luxembourg\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0compte 37 communes membres (mars 2017). Afin d\u2019atteindre les objectifs qu\u2019elles se sont fix\u00e9s, les communes \u00e9changent leurs exp\u00e9riences,\u00a0 soumettent des projets d\u2019initiatives et mettent en oeuvre des actions communes. S\u2019il est vrai que chaque commune pr\u00e9serve son autonomie, elle gagne n\u00e9anmoins en exp\u00e9rience par les actions des autres membres luxembourgeois et europ\u00e9ens et au-del\u00e0, des organisations partenaires Action Solidarit\u00e9 Tiers Monde et Mouvement Ecologique. En outre, l\u2019Alliance pour le climat est un porte-parole pour les communes en mati\u00e8re de politique \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, climatique et de d\u00e9veloppement vis-\u00e0-vis des niveaux national et europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n

Les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par l\u2019 Alliance pour le climat Luxembourg\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient du soutien des Minist\u00e8res comp\u00e9tents en mati\u00e8re de Coop\u00e9ration au d\u00e9veloppement et de D\u00e9veloppement durable.<\/p>\n
