{"id":19846,"date":"2026-06-25T16:24:19","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T14:24:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bierger.remich.lu\/?p=19846"},"modified":"2026-06-25T16:24:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T14:24:19","slug":"wichtiger-aufruf-zum-wassersparen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bierger.remich.lu\/en\/2026\/06\/25\/wichtiger-aufruf-zum-wassersparen\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Appeal to Save Water"},"content":{"rendered":"Dear residents,<\/p>\n<p>Due to the ongoing drought and increased water consumption, the City of Remich&#8217;s water reserves have declined significantly over the past few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>We therefore appeal to all residents to use only the necessary amount of drinking water with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How you can help:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take short showers and avoid taking baths.<\/li>\n<li>Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth.<\/li>\n<li>Only use washing machines and dishwashers when they are fully loaded.<\/li>\n<li>Refrain from watering lawns.<\/li>\n<li>Water plants only in the morning or in the evening.<\/li>\n<li>Do not fill or top up swimming pools.<\/li>\n<li>Please do not wash your car at home and use professional car wash facilities instead.<\/li>\n<li>Check water pipes and taps for leaks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For this reason, only the part of the water play area at Place Kons that is supplied with rainwater will remain in operation.
