The association aims to promote relations between the residents of the two cities that have signed the twinning agreement in the areas of education, sports, culture, social affairs, economics, agriculture, heritage, administration, and so on. More broadly, the association also seeks to raise public awareness of European issues and disseminate information about the European integration process. To this end, it may organize any type of event (exchanges, meetings, hosting delegations from the twin city) that supports the achievement of its objectives.
