Help and Support in Everyday Life
The municipality would like to highlight the wide range of services offered by Hëllef Doheem and its support and care centres. They assist people and their families in living independently and safely at home for as long as possible.
The services include Sécher Doheem, a telecare alarm system providing 24-hour security, as well as night care and home support. A range of advice and therapies is also available, including nutritional advice, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and psychological support.
During the final stage of life, home-based palliative care provides professional and compassionate support. The day centres offer people aged 65 and over a varied and structured daily programme, encourage social interaction and provide appropriate activities and therapies.
In addition, individual support with everyday tasks is available, for example with household chores, shopping or laundry.
