Between July, 27 and August, 1st, 2026 UNICEF Luxembourg is launching its donation campaign in Remich to receive monthly support from new donors.

The employees are easily identifiable thanks to their clothing in UNICEF colors and their ID cards stamped by the NGO. Financial support is provided exclusively by automatic bank debit via tablets. The employees never collect cash.

You can redeem these vouchers at participating restaurants and wineries in Remich.

Introduction of a new passport in Luxembourg as of May 11, 2026

  • What’s changing?
    Only the validity period
    – Children 0-4 years: valid for 2 years
    – Children 4–18 years: valid for 5 years
    – Adults: valid for 10 years
  • Procedure and price remain the same

On May 8, 2026, it will not be possible to apply for a passport; as of May 11, 2026, you can submit your passport application as usual.

Due to the cavalcade, several streets will be inaccessible in Remich on Sunday, March 15th, 2026 from 1 p.m. until the end of the event  approx. 6 p.m.).

Be aware of the parking regulations in place! Please read all signs carefully before you park, the more restrictive one is the one in effect.

Public transport

This affects the bus lines 341, 342, 406, 411, 413, 431, 432 and 550, as well as various stops.
