Crematorium Hamm | Construction work

Due to major construction work at the crematorium in Hamm between September 2023 and December 2024, there may be long waiting times for funeral ceremonies.

Please note that ceremonies can also be organized at the municipal cemetery.

Join our weekly running group and stay fit!

We offer a varied workout of running combined with the use of the Bacchus Fitness Trail in the forest. We meet every Sunday morning at 10am at the School and Sports Center “Gewännchen”.

The course is suitable for everyone, whether beginner or advanced.

Renovation Al Post – A Fonds du Logement project

Six apartments and two shops will be built in the building of the “Al Post” at the Place du Marché in Remich. To inform all affected residents and business owners about the project, a presentation was being held on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at 8:30 am at the “Al Schoul”.  The same afternoon a groundbreaking ceremony took place to launch the renovation and construction work.

The project involves the renovation and extension of the building, which is partly listed. The project consists of two shops and six apartments – including one unit adapted for people with reduced mobility. The apartments, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms, with living space from 53 to 133 m², will be divided between the two parts of the building: the renovated part, on the Place du Marché side, and the new extension, on the Moselle side.

 

Heedbaach trail closed

Following last week’s severe weather conditions, the Heedbach trail will remain closed to the public until 29.09.2023 for repair work.

We are looking for a school bus transportation supervisor

The City of Remich is looking for 1 school bus transportation supervisor (supervision of children aged 3-12).

  • Fixed-term contract until 15.07.2024 (with possibility to permanent contract), 6 hours/week, career A3 (“convention collective des communes du sud”)

Requirements:

  • Required language skills: Luxembourgish, French, and German
  • Autonomy, team spirit, flexibility
