Be well informed about the energy transition and climate protection
The basic energy advisory service is neutral and free of charge. It allows you to take the necessary steps to succeed in your project of sustainable housing or mobility, of replacing your old renewable energy boiler by a more ecoresponsible solution or of producing clean electricity thanks to the sun.
This is a partnership between your municipality and Klima-Agence, your partner for energy and climate.
The purpose of this service is to advise, inform and raise awareness on the following subjects:
- daily energy savings;
- sustainable energy renovation;
- sustainable construction;
- heating solutions for your home;
- renewable energies;
- electricity production and self-consumption;
- electric mobility;
- the energy performance certificate;
- the various available subsidies.
Make an appointment for your personalised energy advisory session
The basic energy advisory session can be organised at your home (only for renovation projects) or remotely by video conference or telephone. It can be held in Luxembourgish, German, French or English. All costs are covered by Klima-Agence and your municipality.

All residents of the canton of Remich can contribute financially to joint projects.

Dear members of the cooperative, dear friends of the sun,
Following our information meeting in Lenningen, we are pleased to welcome a few new co-operators to our ranks. Before we realise the project in Canach, we prefer to install first of all the PV systems on the Mondorf school, as its roof will be renewed in the summer. We have received interesting offers so that this can be realised for our major project in summer 2024.
That is why we are making an appeal at this point for you to participate financially again: the PV system costs +/- 86,600 € incl. VAT and we currently do not have enough money to realise the project.
To support us, you are also welcome to advertise in your circle of acquaintances.
The municipality of Mondorf stands 100% behind the EKR, also for this project, which means that there is no risk at any time that your investment will be lost.
We would already like to thank all those who have made it possible for the cooperative to connect another Installation to the network.

Notre équipe du service entretien, en collaboration avec l’administration des eaux et forêts, pratique depuis quelques années un entretien des espaces verts en accord avec la nature.
Le nouveau concept cible le fauchage tardif et la biodiversité tout en laissant de côté toute sorte de pesticides. Moins de plantations, plus de prairies et les arbustes peuvent se développer naturellement.
À côté des plantes également la faune en profitera, comme p.ex. les abeilles et papillons, pour lesquels de nouvelles sources de nourriture et espaces de vie naissent. Pour les humains la nature devient tangible.
L’entretien des espaces verts en accord avec la nature contribue à la santé et à une plus grande qualité de vie à Remich.

Depuis plus de 25 ans, les municipalités membres de Climat Alliance/Alliance pour le climat œuvrent, en partenariat avec les peuples indigènes des forêts tropicales, en faveur du climat. Avec quelque 1.700 membres à travers 26 pays européens, Climate Alliance est le réseau mondial le plus important de communes agissant en faveur du climat et le seul à avoir défini des objectifs chiffrés: Chaque commune ou ville membre s’est engagée à réduire ses émissions de gaz à effet de serre de 10 pourcent tous les 5 ans.
Étant conscient de l’impact que notre mode de vie peut avoir sur les peuples et les endroits les plus vulnérables à travers le monde, Climate Alliance combine actions locales et responsabilité globale. Le réseau initie des coopérations avec les peuples indigènes, mène des campagnes de sensibilisation et propose des instruments pour l’action en faveur du climat. Il poursuit une démarche participative basée sur l’échange et représente ses membres aux niveaux national, européen et international.
Au Luxembourg, c’est en 1995 que quelques communes se joignent aux ONG « ASTM – Action Solidarité Tiers Monde » et « Mouvement Ecologique » dans le but de fonder ensemble le « Klima-Bündnis Lëtzebuerg/Alliance pour le climat Luxembourg ».
A l’heure actuelle, l’Alliance pour le climat Luxembourg compte 37 communes membres (mars 2017). Afin d’atteindre les objectifs qu’elles se sont fixés, les communes échangent leurs expériences, soumettent des projets d’initiatives et mettent en oeuvre des actions communes. S’il est vrai que chaque commune préserve son autonomie, elle gagne néanmoins en expérience par les actions des autres membres luxembourgeois et européens et au-delà, des organisations partenaires Action Solidarité Tiers Monde et Mouvement Ecologique. En outre, l’Alliance pour le climat est un porte-parole pour les communes en matière de politique énergétique, climatique et de développement vis-à-vis des niveaux national et européen.
Les efforts déployés par l’ Alliance pour le climat Luxembourg bénéficient du soutien des Ministères compétents en matière de Coopération au développement et de Développement durable.

OekoTopten
OekoTopten.lu is an online guide adapted to the Luxembourg market that offers information and tips on saving energy and resources.
Consumers can view and compare electrical appliances and vehicles, smartphones, heating systems and other products by clicking on criteria such as energy efficiency, resource consumption and reparability.
The Oekozenter Pafendall is running the project in collaboration with the Mouvement Ecologique. It is being supported by the Ministry of the Environment and the Topten International Group network.
