We would like to inform you that the CGDIS will be organizing a film shoot for its new communication campaign in Rue de Macher on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

As part of this, a flood scene will be simulated and filmed with the intervention of a CGDIS truck in front of house no. 23. The truck will not use its siren and only the flashing light will be activated.

We kindly ask you to avoid the street during this time, not to leave any objects (bags, trash cans, etc.) there, and not to park your bicycle or vehicle there.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Fireworks & firecrackers | NO !

Fireworks and firecrackers on New Year’s Eve?

NO! Fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited on New Year’s Eve throughout the territory of the City of Remich, for reasons of safety, environmental protection, and animal welfare!

We would also like to remind you that, as a general rule, any pyrotechnic intervention requires the authorization of the mayor, which the mayor of the City of Remich will not grant on New Year’s Eve.

We are sure you will be able to have a wonderful New Year’s Eve without fireworks.

The Ëmweltberodung poster contains important information on the harmful effects of fireworks.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
