On October 15, 2024, the Climate Agency presented the results of its independent and free advisory services and its new awareness-raising campaign to the press.
The focus was on activities for households, municipalities and professionals. With the goal of making the topic of climate and energy even more accessible, it has also launched the “Solar Challenge ” competition and a call for projects for the energy-efficient renovation of residential buildings. For more information, please read the press release.
The purpose of the campaign is to highlight the expertise and assistance that is available. In order to implement a project in the context of the energy transition, you need expert advice. The Climate Agency supports all those who are involved, regardless of whether they want to have their homes renovated with insulation, build a photovoltaic system, heat with renewable energies or switch to electromobility.
The “Solar Challenge” is meant to increase the willingness of the actors (municipalities, citizens or companies) and motivate them to generate more electricity by using solar energy.
