Road closure Rue de la Cité (lower part) and parts of the neighbouring streets
Due to roadworks, the following roads are closed: N°2-36 Rue de la Cité / 1 Rue de la Corniche > crossroads / Rue Belvedère
- 02.09.2025 from 07:00 a.m. until 03.09.2025 at 08:00 a.m.
- 08.09.2025 from 07:00 a.m. until 09.09.2025 at 08:00 a.m.
The following measures will be in place:
- Access to Cité Buschland: via the forest road (see map)
- Exit Cité Buschland: via the forest road (see map)
- Household and organic waste collections will take place on 02.09.2025 between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Please place your trash cans on the sidewalk by 6:00 a.m. on the day of collection or the evening before.
Residents are asked to take the necessary measures and inform their suppliers.

Due to roadworks Rue Maatebierg will be closed on 02.09.2025 from 07:00 a.m. until 05.09.2025 at 05:00 p.m.
The following measures will be in place:
- Access to Cité Buschland: via Rue Hierzigsberg-Rue Dauvelt-Rue Wenkel-Rue Dicks (see map)
- Exit Cité Buschland: via Rue Dicks-Rue Wueswee (see map)
- Waste collections will take place as planned, except on 02.09.2025:
- Household and organic waste collections will take place on 02.09.2025 between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Please place your trash cans on the sidewalk by 6:00 a.m. on the day of collection or the evening before.
Residents are asked to take the necessary measures and inform their suppliers.

Due to the bike race this Saturday, May 24, there will be traffic perturbations between approximately 09:00 and 12:00.

Temporary traffic rules | Route de Luxembourg
“Avenue Lamort-Velter” | Road closed
“Avenue Lamort-Velter” closed as of 08.04.2025 until 10.04-.20205 until 09:00
Avenue Lamort-Velter is closed to all traffic due to major work on the water network until further notice. Access for residents is still possible. The municipal shuttle bus stops in Avenue Lamort-Velter will therefore not be served.Roadworks Route de Luxembourg | Traffic & access 11.04.2025
Route de Luxembourg: renewal of the road surface
The Administration des Ponts et Chaussées has informed us that due to road renewal works, the Route de Luxembourg will be closed to all traffic on April 11, 2025 between 09:00 and 17:00 from house no. 03 to the crossroads with the Route de l’Europe (N2).
In the meantime
- parking will be prohibited on both sides of the route de Luxembourg on April 11, 2025 from 06:00 until the end of the work.
- entry to and exit from garages on route de Luxembourg will not be possible during the works.
- bus stops will be disrupted during the works (public transport & municipal shuttle).
Residents are asked to inform any suppliers.

Carnival parade 30.03.2025 | Traffic &public transport
Traffic
Due to the cavalcade, several streets will be inaccessible in Remich on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 from 1 p.m. until the end of the event approx. 6 p.m.).
Be aware of the parking regulations in place! Please read all signs carefully before you park, the more restrictive one is the one in effect.

Deviations will be set up.
Public transport
This affects the bus lines 341, 342, 406, 411, 413, 431, 432 and 550, as well as various stops.
